In 2013, the League initiated a program to offer member companies and artists heavily-subsidized rehearsal space.
As most of you know, The League has been running a rehearsal space program for the last year in a commercial office building in Midtown. We are excited to offer this amazing opportunity to more of you.
This is an opportunity to have a month (or more or less) of use of the space. The only cost to you is an upfront chip in for insurance (amount TBD based on number of hours granted), plus 5 hours of volunteering for LIT. (One person, 5 hours within 3 months of the closing of your show. Gleefully and competently.) We will be asking for a deposit in addition to the insurance fee, but that will be fully refunded as soon as the space is vacated in great condition.
This is the League’s attempt at trying to eradicate the space issue for artists in NYC. We look forward to you and your company being a part of it.
